The Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness and Safety (IQuESt) is a Houston-based, research center supported by the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine.
IQuEST’s mission is improve health and well-being. To help achieve this mission, IQuEST developed a Community Engagement Committee with the purpose of engaging Veterans in research.
Since 2016, Veterans who serve on the committee have shared their expertise and experiences to improve our studies which, in turn, helps Veterans.
We seek Veterans from all backgrounds to help diversify and build our committee membership.
Veterans who serve on the committee will receive a $25 stipend for each meeting he/she attends for their time and assistance.
