Combined Arms is proud to announce Mike Hutchings as the new Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Mike’s role as CEO, he served as the Interim CEO, and Chief Development Officer for Combined Arms. He led the development, events, marketing, technology, and government relations verticals within the organization. He knows firsthand the obstacles that service members and families face during the transition process, and is proud devoting his time ensuring that veterans are empowered to connect with and accelerate the impact of their communities.

"I could not be more honored to continue service to our military and veteran community by leading the most advanced technology platform, that's designed to navigate our community through the fragmented social determinants of health landscape, connecting them to resources and resulting in positive outcomes. Combined Arms is a national thought leader in innovation, collaboration, and accountability, and I am awestruck by the passion and excellence of our great partner organizations, our professional staff, and our fantastic supporters,” says Hutchings.

Combined Arms Board of Directors Vice-Chair Lauren Gore remarks, "Mike's commitment to the veteran community and experience leading high-growth organizations, in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, is inspirational. Under Mike's leadership the future is bright for Combined Arms, its members and veterans we all serve."

Mike graduated from the Virginia Military Institute, where he was a linebacker on the Varsity Football Team, and commissioned as an Infantry Officer with the 82nd Airborne Division. Mike's distinguished active duty service included leading over 100 Soldiers in combat operations in Afghanistan, Company Commander for a 200 person Light Infantry Company, and Operations Officer for an Infantry Battalion of over 640 Soldiers. Following his Active Duty service, Mike joined General Electric in a variety of management roles where he oversaw the development of many new technology applications including a multimillion dollar software package designed for enhanced accountability for shipping industry logistics.

Mike has received numerous selections during his for-profit and non-profit roles, including the Bush Institute's Veteran Presidential Scholar Program and nomination into GE's Executive Leadership Program.
