Real-time data from Combined Arms’ innovative technology solution enables the Texas Veterans Network to meet the immediate needs of Texas’s veteran and military communities. We observed a staggering 442% increase in food assistance requests in early 2022 and partnered with Galveston County Food Bank to host a monthly mobile food pantry in partnership with Bob Woodruff Foundation, The Connection Church, Associated Credit Union Of Texas, Galveston County Food Bank, and Houston Veteran Affairs targeting veteran & military families. To date, we’ve served 2,461 individuals, including 584 veterans, through our monthly Galveston County Monthly Veteran Food Pantry and will be expanding our veteran & military-focused food pantries across Houston in the coming weeks.
